The market by the numbers
Thailand's food delivery gross merchandise value was roughly US$4.2 billion in 2024 and roughly US$5.1 billion in 2025, according to Momentum Works data reported by the Bangkok Post. Grab and LINE MAN's combined share rose to roughly 90 percent, up from roughly 86 percent, following Foodpanda's exit from the Thai market in May 2025.
Within that combined figure, separate 2025 data reported by KrAsia puts Grab at roughly 47 percent of GMV share and LINE MAN at roughly 41 percent, with the overall market growing by roughly 22 percent. ShopeeFood holds the remaining meaningful share, estimated at roughly 7 to 10 percent.
What this means for platform priority
With Grab and LINE MAN together covering roughly 90 percent of the market, most restaurants get the largest reach by being present on both rather than choosing one over the other. ShopeeFood's smaller but real share means it can be worth adding once the two larger platforms are running well, rather than being the first priority.

Different platforms, different fee and ad structures
Grab and LINE MAN each have their own commission structure and advertising tools, covered in our dedicated guides on Grab commission and LINE MAN GP fees. Running both does mean managing two separate merchant dashboards, two sets of settings, and potentially two advertising systems, which is a real operational cost even though both have self-serve tools.
A practical way to prioritize
Get the GrabFood and LINE MAN listings complete and well-managed first, since together they reach the large majority of the delivery-ordering market. Consider ShopeeFood as an addition once the first two platforms are running smoothly, rather than spreading limited attention across three platforms from day one.
